What Group Leaders Are Saying About the Mountain Lab School:

Testimonial

“I can’t thank you and your team enough for the amazing field trips you put on for our kiddos this week! I have had nothing but rave reviews from my teachers. A teacher walked in the door yesterday and said ‘Best. Field Trip. EVER!’

Testimonial

“I got wonderful feedback about how well-organized and enthusiastic the instructors were. In particular, one of my teachers noted how well the Orienteering instructor integrated a Christian worldview into the class. As a classical Christian school we are all about cultivating wondering and orienting our children towards the good, true and beautiful – it sounds like you all did an amazing job of continuing and cultivating that for our kiddos! Thank you, thank you, thank you again!”

Mountain Lab School FAQ’s

Q. I notice you are a Christian ministry.  Are public schools and non-religious groups able to come, and will they be proselytized for the Christian faith while there?

A. We gladly welcome non-religious schools and educational groups to participate in our outdoor education programs; we have been serving public school groups for over 35 years. For such groups, we do not teach curricula from a Christian perspective or openly proselytize.  However, it is important for all guests to understand that IdRaHaJe is a religious organization and operates consistent with its mission, values and doctrinal statement. While IdRaHaJe serves all types of school groups through the Mountain Lab School, the programs, facility usage and educational practices will not contradict IdRaHaJe’s stated beliefs. Our goal is to provide an engaging outdoor educational experience characterized by excellence, respect and exceptional customer service.

Q. What makes the Mountain Lab School unique?

A. Unlike many other outdoor education programs, IdRaHaJe’s Mountain Lab School is a comprehensive outdoor educational experience where curriculum, instruction, activities and meals are facilitated and delivered entirely by IdRaHaJe’s experienced staff. This allows school leaders and chaperones to focus on building relationships and memories without worrying about teaching or running programs.
