Retreats:  Facility Use & Group Conduct Expectations

General:

  • IdRaHaJe is an alcohol, drug, and smoke-free environment. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
  • We do not allow pets on the premises.
  • Do not drive on the back road of IdRaHaJe.
  • The speed limit on IdRaHaJe roads is 15 mph.
  • Do not drive or walk near construction areas.
  • Passengers must remain inside vehicles while driving on camp roads. Riding or hanging on the outside of any vehicle is NOT allowed.
  • Stay on IdRaHaJe’s property. Do not go over any fences.
  • Please don’t go anywhere alone outside. If you decide to go hiking, be sure to let someone know. Minors need to let an adult know where they are going.
  • Be aware that there may be wild animals around, especially between dusk and dawn.
  • Please refrain from outside noise after 10:00 pm.
  • In Aspen View, there is a phone in the dining hall for emergencies only.
  • If there is an emergency, call 911, and tell dispatch that you are at IdRaHaJe (571 County Road 43, Bailey, Colorado, 80421) and the facility where you are located. This information will be posted in the dining hall.

Facilities:

  • There must always be an IdRaHaJe staff member present at the Gym and Education Center.
  • IdRaHaJe is set up with separate male and female lodging and bathrooms. If your group is in need of uni-sex facilities, please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
  • Be respectful of all the buildings and rooms.
  • Please turn off the lights when you leave a room.
  • Be sure to keep doors closed. If your room is too hot, adjust the thermostat instead of opening doors or windows.
  • Please be fully clothed when walking from a cabin/room to the bathrooms.
  • Please leave any furniture where it’s placed, and don’t move the beds.
  • Please do not duct tape or mark anything on the walls, floors, ceilings, tables, or beds. However, blue painter’s tape is acceptable if it is needed for programming purposes.
  • Please do not cover any windows.
  • Please no food or drinks (except water) in the sleeping areas as it could attract wild animals.
  • No kicking or bouncing balls anywhere inside.
  • When outside, do not throw anything near the buildings like rocks, snowballs, etc.
  • Burning candles is not allowed at any facility.

Dining Hall:

  • You must wear shoes in the dining hall.
  • The dining hall is open to the group for use unless the kitchen staff is setting up for a meal.
  • While you are allowed access to the dining hall, please stay out of the kitchen. Only IdRaHaJe staff are allowed in the kitchen.
  • There is a drink station set up in the dining hall with water, coffee, and tea that is always available.
  • The dining hall has a refrigerator and microwave for group use.
  • Bringing extra food and snacks during your retreat is allowed. We will designate a spot at your facility to store the snacks during your stay.
