The Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit was established to encourage greater private support of qualified Colorado childcare programs for children 0–12 years of age, like those provided through IdRaHaJe.
With your annual donation of $1,000 or more to IdRaHaJe, you can take advantage of the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit (CCCC); and you may be able to claim a credit in an amount up to 50% of your qualified gift! The CCCC was designed to promote quality childcare and increase availability across the state of Colorado.
The State of Colorado offers a 50% income tax credit for qualified donations to licensed child-care facilities. IdRaHaJe donors are eligible for this tax credit! This means that your individual or corporate contribution to IdRaHaJe has a direct impact on the lives of families in our community AND it has the additional benefit of reducing your Colorado tax liability.
*Examples assume 73% of donation qualifies. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your tax filings. Standard limitations: credit is allowed at 50% of qualified donation amount; credit allowed shall not exceed $100,000 per year; credit allowed shall not exceed the tax liability for the year; credits may be carried forward for up to 5 years; credit is not valid for stock transfers, in-kind donations or gifts made through a foundation or donor advised fund.
IdRaHaJe will provide a signed DR1317 tax form in January included in your year-end statement. Donors must submit the form with their Colorado tax return to be eligible for the credit.
