Teaching and Worship

Upcoming Events at IdRaHaJe

Enjoy teaching and worship from IdRaHaJe’s full-time staff and summer speakers:

Fruit of the Spirit – Introduction
Get ready to join Seth Maxwell as he kicks off our Fruit of the Spirit Video Teaching Series. You are in for a treat! Through juggling, riding his unicycle and magic tricks, Seth focuses on Galatians 5:22-23 and John 15.

Fruit of the Spirit – Self-control
Explore the biblical meaning of self-control with Joe and Linda West. Is self-control just about trying harder to master a skill like skateboarding, juggling, playing the piano or cooking? Find out the answer to this question as the Wests help us understand that Jesus Christ allows us to have true self-control.

Fruit of the Spirit – Gentleness
Meredith Shuman connects with us all the way from Mexico where she and her husband serve as missionaries.  If you have ever experienced the gentleness of a favorite stuffed-animal or your pillow at the end of the day, you will be able to relate with Meredith’s teaching.  In this lesson, she helps us understand gentleness as a fruit of the spirit and a biblical command.

Fruit of the Spirit – Faithfulness
Before you settle in for this lesson on faithfulness with Matt Strid, get some scotch tape, masking tape (painter’s tape) and duct tape.  Through clear teaching and illustration, Matt shows what it means to be faithful from a biblical perspective.  His lesson ends with a great set of questions for you to discuss or meditate on.  If you didn’t get a chance to meet Matt’s dog, Kona, on IdRaHaJe’s Facebook or Instagram page, make time for that as well!

Fruit of the Spirit – Goodness
Are you curious what toilet paper and a banana can teach us about goodness?  Engage with Amy Guthrie as she walks us through the story of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10.  Amy provides helpful suggestions on how each of us can show goodness during this uncertain time.

Fruit of the Spirit – Kindness
Connect with Todd Fletcher at his neighborhood lake as he masterfully weaves together both Old and New Testament passages teaching us the deep meaning of kindness or in Hebrew, hesed.  Todd challenges us to accept God’s kindness through Christ so that we might truly be kind to each other.

Fruit of the Spirit – Patience
Our Magicianary, Seth Maxwell, once again joins us, this time teaching on patience.  Using the story of Joseph, found in Genesis 37-42, Seth encourages us to seek first God’s kingdom and pray for Joseph-like patience during this uncertain time.

Fruit of the Spirit – Peace
Mike Kallander gives us an authentic look at what it means to live with Christ’s peace ruling in our lives.  Get ready to be invited to his family’s story of holding onto peace through difficult circumstances and tremendous loss.

Fruit of the Spirit – Joy
Through humorous storytelling, Mark Kraakevik animates what it means to have GREAT JOY as he unpacks the story of the prodigal son found in Luke 15.  Don’t miss out on Mark’s challenge to join the “God Party” or his joy-inducing dad jokes at the end of his lesson.

Fruit of the Spirit – Love
Elsa Wolff and her famous puppet, Chloe, help us understand the importance of love in this fun-filled, full-of-laughs lesson.  Get ready to learn about agape love and Chloe’s plans for loving others.

Down-home Inspire (Spring 2020)
Enjoy a special time of praise and worship and an encouraging word from Staff Ministries Supervisor Cliff McCalister.
