The Mountain Lab School at IdRaHaJe

The Mountain Lab School

Since 1983, IdRaHaJe has been offering amazing outdoor education experiences through the Mountain Lab SchoolThe Mountain Lab School is an outdoor education program open to all school groups. Based on Christian principles, the Mountain Lab School seeks to enhance positive relationships and ignite a lifetime of learning and adventure by using the outdoors as the primary classroom.

Each partnering school can customize a unique program from a single day to a week-long overnight experience.  Day trips can be designed for all grade levels while overnight experiences are best suited for those in 5th grade or above.

While IdRaHaJe is a religious organization, the Mountain Lab School gladly welcome non-religious schools and educational groups to participate in our outdoor education programs; we have been serving public school groups for over 35 years. For such groups, we do not teach curricula from a sectarian religious perspective or openly proselytize.  During the planning process, group leaders can choose between a Biblically Based Curriculum or Character Based Curriculum.  All Mountain Lab School programs, facility usage and educational practices will not contradict IdRaHaJe’s stated beliefs as all programs operate consistent with its mission, values and doctrinal statement.

Testimonial

“I am a former paraprofessional and have been to other outdoor lab experiences. This was my first time here, and I would like to say that this was by far the most involved and positive experience I have seen at any of the outdoor labs. The staff were excited, professional, positive and obviously had the kids safety and personal growth in mind. Thank you so much.  P.S. My child had a fantastic time as well.”
