Katie Winchester, Mountain Lab School Assistant
Katie started on full-time staff in November of 2023 as the Mountain Lab School Assistant. Camp ministry was never a part of her life plan until the Lord called her to IdRaHaJe in 2022. Katie served as a wrangler for the summer and then worked as an IdRaHaJe intern for the 2022-2023 season, finishing the year as the lead wrangler that summer. Katie then understood the Lord’s calling to teaching and ministry and was able to serve again in the MLS department as a lead intern for the fall semester, transitioning to full-time staff in November. Katie is from Indiana and her family includes her parents, two brothers, and a sister who also works at IdRaHaJe. Katie’s favorite things to do are anything with horses, playing piano and guitar, and just being outside.
