Jessica Dekker, Cook
Jessica has been at IdRaHaJe since May 23rd, 2021, starting as summer staff, serving as an intern for a year, and now since August 2022 as a Full-Time Cook. She has always had a passion for working with kids and serving others, which is why camp is the perfect fit! She has been involved in a lot of different kids programs and ministries throughout her life. At the age of 21, she was given the opportunity to work at a summer camp called United Christian Youth Camp, which sparked her interest in camp ministries. Four years later, she finally took the leap of faith to pursue that career! Jessica grew up with two awesome parents and four siblings. She also has 40 first cousins and over 100 second cousins. She loves her big family! A fun fact about Jessica is that she once ate 222 ants in one summer: some big, some small, a variety of sorts.
