  • Light sweater or jacket
  • Winter Coat
  • Winter Hat
  • Gloves or Mittens
  • Jeans
  • Rain gear or poncho
  • Casual shirts
  • Long sleeve shirts
  • Heavy socks (wool)
  • Swim suit (modest, 1-piece for girls)
  • Sunscreen
  • Sun glasses
  • Kleenex or handkerchief
  • Plastic bag for dirty clothes
  • Camera
  • Water bottle
  • Pen/pencil/paper
  • Backpack – to carry items to and from your classes
  • Hiking/Snow boots & Tennis shoes

What NOT To Bring:

  • Radios
  • Electronic Games
  • MP3 Player or iPods
  • Knives / Firearms
  • Cell phones
  • Televisions
  • Skateboards / Skates

* Alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco and other drugs are prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy is grounds for being sent home.

Student Guidelines for the Mountain Lab School

Respect For Creation

  • I will stay on marked trails when hiking and exploring.
  • I will not pick wildflowers or damage plants or trees.
  • I will leave wild animals alone.
  • I will not throw rocks or sticks.
  • I will not bring pets or animals to Camp.

Respect For Others

  • I will keep Camp clean.
  • I will not have food, snowball, or water fights in the buildings.
  • Girls and boys will stay out of each other's rooms.
  • There will be no loud radios, boom boxes, or dancing.

Repect For Authority

  • I will stay out of the kitchen.
  • I will drive 15 mph and park my car and walk if possible.
  • I will stay on Camp roads with any motorized vehicles.
  • Children will let an adult know where they are at all times.
  • No one under 18 is allowed in the Youth Center without adult supervision.

Respect For Self

  • I will not use drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes while at Camp.
  • I will be discrete with my clothing while at Camp.
